President Buhari returns to Abuja after 10 working days holiday to an enthusiastic reception from Nigerians on 18th August 2018

President Buhari has returned to the country after spending about 15 days on his 10 day vacation to the UK. It will be recalled that President Buhari left Nigeria on the 3rd of August on what was called a 10-day vacation. It was therefore expected that he will return by the 13th.

His failure to return at the expected time started generating rumours regarding the actual reason for his visit to the UK and the state of his health.

Announcing his return this evening, Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, wrote on his Facebook page “President Buhari returns to Abuja after 10 working days holiday to an enthusiastic reception from Nigerians on 18th August 2018”
