Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has been arrested by men of the Department of State Services (DSS). Senator Abaribe is the Senator representing Abia South in the upper house of the National Assembly.
It is not yet clear why he was arrested but as at the time of filing this report, his home in Abuja has been cordoned off by officers of the DSS. It appears the men of the DSS are about to carry out a search of the residence.
It will be recalled that the Senator is one of those that stood surety for Nnamdi Kanu, and had been instructed to produce him before the next hearing of his case.
