Buhari, Dumbest Person in Nigeria – Imam of Peace

Imam Tawhidi, a social influencer and Muslim cleric popularly known on Twitter as, Imam of Peace, has described Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari as the dumbest person in Nigeria. In a tweet that has sparked off reactions from Nigerians and other followers of his, the Imam listed three leaders in the world who he described as “Top 3 Leaders.”

President Buhari, who he listed as number two, was described by him as the dumbest person in Nigeria. The tweet read “Muhammadu Buhari, dumbest person in Nigeria. Scared of terrorists, promises to fight the COVIKK virus.”

The reference to Covikk virus was in reaction to the President Buhari’s broadcast to the nation. In a broadcast that came weeks after Nigerians had demanded a statement from the Nation’s number one citizen, Buhari declared that the government was working with the Ministry of Health on protecting citizens from Covik one-nine virus, sparking off a trend on social media which the Imam has now become a part of.

Before the President’s broadcast, some naughty Nigerians had been making fun of the entire call for a broadcast from Buhari, saying that he was taking his time to master how to properly pronounce the name of the virus and that when he had it mastered, he would make the broadcast.

It sadly appears that too much pressure was put on him to make this broadcast, prompting him to step out before mastering the name of the virus.

It is currently rumoured that he and his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, have been secretly flown out of the country for treatment after testing positive to the virus. The presidency has since vehemently debunked this news, posting a picture which it claimed showed the president at work at his desk.

Nigerians are however finding this difficult to believe, and are rather asking for a broadcast to show that he is indeed in the country. Following what happened after the last broadcast, it is almost certain that whether or not he is in the country, no such broadcast should be expected by the good people of Nigeria.
