Super Falcons Fail to Qualify for 2022 WAFCON Final

The Super Falcons have been eliminated from the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) by the competition’s host, Morocco. Morocco eliminated the Nigeria women’s team in the semifinals at the ongoing WAFCON competition on penalty shootouts as the game ended in a draw at full time and extra time. The first goal came in the second half, which was an own goal by falcon player Yasmin Mrabet to the advantage of the Moroccans.
