Kaduna-Abuja Train Attack: Five More Captives Released

Five more captives that were abducted by terrorists from the Kaduna-Abuja train have been released. On March 28, Terrorists abducted over 60 train passengers after attacking the train, killing 14 and leaving several others wounded. After the incident, the abductees have been released in batches. According to the DailyPost, a family member of one of the victims confirmed that Professor Mustapha Umar Imam, a medical doctor at the Usman Dan Fodio University Teaching Hospital (UDUS) in Sokoto was among the released captives. Military Checkpoint Near Zuma Rock Ambushed by Terrorists

On Thursday Night, terrorists ambushed a military checkpoint near Zuma rock, Madalla town along the Abuja-Kaduna Highway in Niger State. The terrorists invaded the military checkpoint around 7 pm and attacked the troops killing several soldiers. Three personnel were confirmed dead from the attack while several others were wounded. Nollywood Stars Suspected to Have Been Kidnapped by Gunmen

Nollywood stars Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornell have reportedly been abducted by suspected gunmen after returning from a movie set in Enugu. Monalisa Chinda of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) disclosed the information on her Instagram page. She stated that the film stars were declared missing by their family members when they didn’t return from a movie set located at Ozalla Town in Enugu State. Train Attack: Four Hostages Freed from Terrorists’ Camp

Four hostages that were abducted from the train attack on the Abuja-Kaduna railway on the 28th of March, have been released. The hostages were released yesterday, leaving 43 captives in the custody of the terrorists. The release came after a viral video surfaced, which showed the terrorist torturing the abductees and threatening to abduct President Buhari and Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai. The terrorist demanded a sum of N100 million for the release of the 43 hostages but it is not yet clear if the freed hostages paid the demanded ransom. Terrorists Kidnap 50 Persons in Niger State

Terrorists have reportedly kidnaped fifty persons in Kuchi, Munya Local Government Area in Niger State. News sources report that the armed terrorists invaded the town at 2 am on Friday and kidnapped about 50 persons while it was raining. According to the Daily Post, the terrorists are trapped at a nearby Dangunu River as they tried to escape with the abductees. Engineer Kingsley Okorafor has been abducted by unknown gunmen near his residence in Umuadara Umulogho Autonomous Community, Obowo Local Government Area of Imo state. Gunmen attack at the the Kuje Custodial Centre in Abuja yesterday caused major panic as residents feared for their lives. Catholic Priests Abducted along Expressway in Edo

Two catholic priests traveling along the Benin-Auchi-Abuja Expressway have reportedly been kidnapped. The priests were abducted on Saturday while traveling from Benin to Uromi in Edo state. Shortly after Rev. Fr. Christopher Odia of the St. Michael Catholic Church, located around the Edo North Senatorial District was kidnapped and killed, two other priests, Rev.Fathers Udo Peter and Philemon were also kidnapped in the same state. Mr. Fred Itua, a close friend of Rev. Fr. Oboh also confirmed that he was kidnapped. "Rev. Fr. Oboh is a priest, who does not have money.
