Gov Ishaku Loses Senatorial Election To APC Candidate

Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State has lost the Taraba South senatorial district election to David Jimkuta of the All Progressives Congress, APC. Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has won the presidential election in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State. According to the latest result, LP topped the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, and the All Progressives Congress, APC in the council which is among the largest in the state. Results declared by Prof Victoria Olumide, the Port Harcourt City Collation Officer, the LP got 62451, while the PDP and APC got 7203 and 5562 votes respectively.
