Terrorists Now Occupy Osunm Ogun Forests – Gani Adams

Iba Gani Adams, the Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba land, has expressed worry over the level of insecurity in Nigeria. He said that intelligence reports obtained showed that suspected terrorists were already laying siege in forests in Osun and Ogun States. Iba Adams disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday which he personally signed, and issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Kehinde Aderemi. He asked South-West Governor to set up local security services in local governments to help preempt terror attacks. Makinde, Gani Adams in Closed Door Meeting

Oyo Governor Seyi Makinde and Aare Onakankafo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams, on Thursday met behind closed doors at the Oyo Government House, Ibadan. Details of the meeting, which lasted for about one and half hours were not made public but it was gathered they may not unconnected with insecurity. Addressing journalists after the meeting, Adams said it was in honor of an earlier request by six southwest Governors to fashion out ways of improving security.
