Nigerian U-23 qualifies for Semi finals

The Nigerian U-23 team also known as dream team XI this evening played a goaless draw with Algeria to qualify for the semi finals of the on-going U-23 African cup of Nations. With this result, the Nigerian team is a step closer to qualifying for next years Olympic games Rio 2016.

The Nigerian team will next play against hosts Senegal on December 9 2015. A win at that match will assure Nigeria’s place in Rio 2016. A loss however will mean they will have to win the third place match to qualify. Three teams will be representing Africa at the Olympic games.

The final four teams include: Hosts Senegal, SouthAfrica, Algeria and Nigeria.
