As the news of the missing 2016 budget continues to generate all sorts of reactions from Nigerians, the Senate President Dr Bukola Saraki has made a fresh revelation. According to a tweet attributed to him, Saraki said the budget was not missing but that two different versions of the budget was submitted, necessitating an investigation.

According to Saraki, President Buhari submitted a version while a  special adviser presented another. According to him , this  discrepancy called for some investigation.

So many stories no surround the 2016 budget. A majority of  Nigerians believe the federal government was trying to save face by  secretly withdrawing that has drawn a lot of scorn from economic  analyst and millions of Nigerians alike.

As of today, Nigerians are still officially in the dark regarding the  true state of things as far as the 2016 budget is concerned. As  Nigerians and business owners continue to struggle under harsh business conditions, Nigerians are praying for a positive change so that the economy can begin to stabilize again.
