Boko Harm kills 8, kidnaps 135 in Cameroon

In the early hours of Tuesday in the Northern parts of Cameroon, suspected Boko Haram fighters raided the village of Chakamari, kidnapped about 135 persons while leaving another eight dead. This attack is one of such attacks that have plagued Cameroon and other member states of the Multi National Task Force.

There has clearly been an upsurge in attacks both on Nigeria and other countries that make up the Mutli-National Joint Task Force since President Buhari was sworn in as President of Nigeria. These increased attacks is almost a direct defiance of Mr President and his promise to end the insurgency within two months of taking office. About 800 people have been killed in the little over two months that he has been in office in attacks that have been incessant.
