An Abuja magistrate court in Wuse zone 6 has ordered the arrest of the Akwa Ibon State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate, Umo Eno. Eno won the PDP’s governorship ticket in May 2022 after he polled 993 votes out of 1,018 votes cast in the primary election. He clinched the ticket ahead of his closest opponent, Onofiok Luke, a member of the house of representatives, who polled two votes while Bassey Albert, a senator got one vote.
