The national and state Houses of Assembly petition tribunal sitting in Ikeja on Wednesday, struck out the petition filed by the PDP and Tajudeen Jaiyeola Agoro, challenging the election of a member House of Representatives, Hon Jide Jimoh of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the Lagos Mainland Federal Constituency seat. The election was held on February 23,  2019 across the federal constituency. Two BRT Buses Involved in a Head-on Collision

Two BRT buses were involved in a head-on collision on Monday at Asolo, Ikorodu road in Lagos while trying to avoid knocking down  Okada riders who were illegally plying the route. This was confirmed by the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) via their official Twitter handle. The accident which occurred on the BRT corridor resulted in traffic gridlock as onlookers flood the scene of the crash. Although the casualty figures are yet to be confirmed as at the time of this report, eyewitnesses said many who were injured have been taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
